Recess

I was skeptical that a “pause” could be a product, but this thing makes the break feel intentional. The design is clean and unobtrusive, so it fits into my desk setup without shouting for attention. I've actually started looking forward to those few minutes it carves out.

The whole ritual of it—set aside, unplugged, just for a few minutes—has become the highlight of my afternoon. It's simple but it genuinely shifts how centered I feel when I get back to work.

I’ve been integrating it into my mid-afternoon slump and the whole "moments of calm" framing actually sticks—just having it on my desk reminds me to step back. It fits the Recess collection’s vibe perfectly, and the build feels solid enough for daily use.
